スピンドルターニングではこれまでの最大の作品になりました。１２１６では限界に近いかと思います。最初は低速位置でトルクが下がらないように加工をしました。途中から中速位置で加工を続けましたが材料が大きく重いため、トルク不足で回転を上げると回転スピードが落ちることがありました。加工の仕方は他にあると思いますが、現状の機械や道具では限界があります。特にくり抜きは結局、バイトで削り出すしかありませんでした。
Spindle Turning was the biggest work to date. I think 1216 is close to the limit. At first, I processed it so that the torque does not drop at the low speed position. I continued machining at the medium speed position from the middle, but because the material was large and heavy, the rotation speed sometimes dropped when the rotation was increased due to lack of torque. I think there are other ways of processing, but there are limits with the current machines and tools. Especially for hollowing out, there was no choice but to cut it out with a bite.
